Senior DevOps Engineer - Checkmarx

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of a key application security tool: Checkmarx. As a Service Administrator, you will co-own the day-to-day operation, administration, and continuous improvement of the platform, serving as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage central configuration of the platform, ensure smooth operation, and handle upgrades and maintenance activities
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users, troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines, and act on operational incidents, including recovery
• Communicate with Checkmarx vendors on issues, feature requests, and timelines
• Participate in regular vendor meetings and escalate critical issues when needed
• Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and development of new features
• Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations
• Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features, and evaluate new product capabilities
• Coordinate adoption plans for new platform capabilities
• Validate vendor fixes and patches before production deployment
• Provide feedback that influences product roadmap discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering application security platforms such as Checkmarx
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting and scan integration configuration
• Proficiency in the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development
• Background in vendor management, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines
• Skills in platform administration, including configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Understanding of operational incident handling and recovery procedures
• Capability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans across teams
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
