Senior DevOps Engineer CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools, along with hands-on experience managing cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, managing scalable infrastructure, improving deployment reliability, and implementing DevSecOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate build, testing, security scanning, and deployment processes.
• Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments.
• Manage artifact repositories and container registries.
• Improve pipeline performance and deployment reliability.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop reusable and modular Terraform configurations.
• Manage Terraform state, remote backends, and multi-environment infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure configuration using Ansible or similar tools.
• Implement infrastructure validation, drift detection, and policy-as-code.

Cloud & Containerization

• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Build and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Work with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Manage application deployments using Helm or Kustomize.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.

Security & Operations

• Implement DevSecOps practices and security checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage secrets using Vault or cloud-based secrets management services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and resource utilization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Expert-level experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Good understanding of Linux administration, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security.
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, and service mesh technologies.
• Experience with DevSecOps, security scanning, and policy-as-code.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS DevOps Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, or CKA.
• Knowledge of SRE practices and DORA metrics.

Education
