Senior DevOps Engineer - (CI/CD & OpenShift)
Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, and IaC automation for enterprise fintech platforms, integrating security and observability tools.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Engineering team and support enterprise-scale platform engineering initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container platforms, Kubernetes/OpenShift, DevOps tooling, and production support.
This role requires hands-on engineering experience in designing, implementing, and managing modern DevOps platforms while collaborating closely with development, infrastructure, security, and platform engineering teams.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, improving platform reliability, and driving engineering excellence across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Build and manage automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Helm.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and automation frameworks.
- Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Podman.
- Support platform onboarding by enabling application teams through automation and self-service capabilities.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, Platform Engineering, and Product teams to deliver scalable platform solutions.
- Integrate DevSecOps tools into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security, compliance, and governance throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Implement automated security scans, regulatory checks, vulnerability management, and patch automation.
- Develop automation scripts using Groovy, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide operational support within a DevOps/SRE environment.
- Monitor platform health, system performance, and application reliability using enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions across enterprise platforms.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, platform standardization, automation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work within production support rotations and ensure high availability of critical enterprise platforms.
