About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Dubai to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of our cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build scalable, reliable and secure CI CD pipelines, container platforms and automation frameworks that support our fast-paced delivery cycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple application stacks.
- Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration in AWS, Azure and on-premise data centers.
- Write and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to streamline operational tasks.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability and security issues.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA and security teams to drive DevOps best practices.
- Conduct system architecture reviews and recommend improvements to achieve high availability and disaster recovery.
Experience and Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Expertise in Bash scripting and Python programming.
- Proven experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of on-premise server and network management.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Experience with infrastructure as code principles and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC/configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Background in performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
