Our client, a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer to enhance their infrastructure operations in Sandton, Gauteng. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our client's cloud environments. You will be responsible for implementing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployment, and championing Dev Ops best practices across development and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for all services. Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system stability. Automate routine operational tasks to enhance efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Dev Ops and cloud technologies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in a Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering role. Proven experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation). Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell. Solid understanding of networking, security, and operating systems (Linux/Windows). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
