Senior DevOps Engineer

Compensation: ₹30L – ₹45L • No equity

Role & responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for Laravel applications
2. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for staging and production environments
3. Manage server provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for high-availability systems
4. Collaborate closely with backend teams to optimize Laravel deployments and performance
5. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation (preferred)
6. Manage Dockerized applications and deployment workflows
7. Ensure application security, secrets management, and access control
8. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
9. Handle production deployments, rollbacks, and incident resolution
10. Optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization
11. Support database operations, backups, and disaster recovery strategies
12. Troubleshoot production and pre-production issues

Preferred candidate profile:

1. 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
2. Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
3. Strong knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting
4. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
5. Hands-on experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
6. Understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices
7. Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
8. Exposure to Kubernetes / EKS
9. Experience supporting high-traffic production systems
10. Knowledge of Nginx / Apache optimization
