Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain robust infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing workflows, ensuring system reliability, and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud or on-premise
  infrastructure.
• Manage configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitor infrastructure performance and implement enhancements as needed.

CI/CD Pipelines:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous
  deployment pipelines.
• Ensure automated testing and deployment processes are seamless and efficient.

System Reliability:

• Implement and manage observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting
  (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Troubleshoot and resolve system reliability and performance issues.
  

Collaboration:

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align DevOps
  practices with project goals.
• Advocate for DevOps best practices, including automation, scalability, and
  security.
  

Security:

• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and company policies.

Key Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and
  containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana).

Leadership Experience:

• Proven track record of leading and managing DevOps or engineering teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage team workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 2 years in a
  leadership position.
• Hands-on experience with designing and managing scalable, high-availability systems.
