Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer owning and evolving Duetto's AWS-based infrastructure that powers its SaaS Revenue & Profit Operating System for hospitality customers. Day-to-day: build automation and self-running tooling, enable zero-downtime migrations, lead on-call and root cause analyses. Core stack: AWS, Terraform/Terragrunt, Chef/Puppet, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, DataDog/Prometheus.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own and evolve the AWS-based infrastructure that powers Duetto’s Revenue & Profit Operating System, ensuring it is fast, secure, and highly available. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate toil, enable seamless migrations, and scale SaaS services. This is a hands-on role with leadership in on-call—critical to maintaining 24/7 reliability for hospitality customers. You’ll influence tooling choices and help embed AI-driven improvements in operations.
Responsibilities- Architect and implement infrastructure for smooth migrations of critical systems with uptime in mind
- Design, build, and maintain tooling to enable scalable, self-running SaaS on AWS
- Partner with developers to improve reliability, performance, security, and scalability
- Develop and maintain core infrastructure components for high availability and security
- Drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams so infrastructure decisions serve the business
- Lead on-call rotations, perform root cause analyses, and implement lasting fixes
- 5+ years in Ops/DevOps/SRE with system design and architecture experience
- Hands-on AWS administration; knowledge of networking and security at engineering level
- Fluency with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
- Production experience with Terraform/Terragrunt; experience with Chef or Puppet
- Proficiency with GitHub/GitHub Actions/Jenkins/JFrog Artifactory and GitOps workflows
- Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Ability to read Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript to move quickly across codebases
