Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan and sustain scalable, dependable infrastructure systems that align with business and technical goals
• Partner with teams across different functions to ensure work is finished punctually and meets quality expectations
• Participate in architecture-focused discussions, sharing input that helps direct infrastructure initiative outcomes
• Assess configurations and scripts authored by fellow engineers, offering constructive notes that maintain strong standards
• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical problems that emerge throughout the deployment and operations process
• Help junior colleagues grow by passing along knowledge that builds their technical competencies
• Engage in planning conversations, assisting with scope outlines and delivering reliable time projections
• Keep pace with changing technology trends and incorporate beneficial new methods into regular work
• Preserve organized documentation of significant technical decisions and operational processes to support system longevity
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to define clear goals and confirm finished work matches expectations

Requirements

• At least three years of applicable, hands-on professional background
• Hands-on familiarity with AI principles and tools, used to enhance infrastructure and automation design
• Direct experience operating within cloud infrastructure built on Amazon Web Services
• Advanced command of Python and Bash for scripting and automating operational processes
• Strong background in Linux Administration for overseeing and sustaining server environments
• Background working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, or GitLab CI to automate release workflows
• Functional understanding of Oracle RDBMS for overseeing and maintaining relational database systems
• Working familiarity with MySQL for organizing and accessing relational data structures
• Experience in Windows Administration for overseeing and sustaining Windows-based server infrastructure
• Background using infrastructure-as-code solutions such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to provision cloud resources
• Skilled with configuration management platforms such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack for automating setup tasks
• Direct experience with Kubernetes for coordinating and managing containerized application deployments
• Confident English communication abilities at a B2 level or above
