Senior DevOps Engineer - Financial Services Company - HKD$60K - HKD$70K

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per month

Our client is a Financial Services Company and they are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain on-premises infrastructure and platforms. This role focuses on bare-metal and virtualized on-prem environments running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes. You will own the full lifecycle of container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters on on-premises infrastructure

• Build, operate, and scale Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including OpenShift-specific features (Operators, Operators Lifecycle Manager, Routes, Security Context Constraints, Network Policies, etc.)

• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or equivalent) for application and infrastructure deployments

• Automate infrastructure and application provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent) and configuration management

• Manage container image registries, build strategies, and secure software supply chain practices on-prem.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, availability, and capacity (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/ELK, or equivalent on-prem stacks)

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to enable reliable deployments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline

• Over 5 years of work experience in DevOps, SRE

• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in production on-premises environments

• Proven experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Red Hat OpenShift

• Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes (core concepts, networking, storage, security, operators, and troubleshooting)

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar) for containerized applications

• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, containers, and distributed systems

• Fluent in Cantonese
