Senior DevOps Engineer
Summary
Senior DevOps engineer supporting an investment-banking client environment in Kraków: building GitLab CI/CD pipelines, managing Azure/AKS cloud infrastructure, writing Terraform IaC, and automating delivery in a highly regulated financial setting. Hybrid — 3 days/week in the client's Kraków office.

Salary range: 15850 - 24300 PLN gross
What will you do?
You will join a large-scale financial services environment supporting investment banking operations. The role focuses on driving digital transformation, process automation, data integration, and application modernization initiatives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-native platforms, automating delivery processes, and enabling efficient software development practices in a highly regulated environment.
Your tasks
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and AKS environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform
- Implement and improve DevOps practices, automation and deployment processes
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance software delivery and operational efficiency
- Support cloud-native application deployments and Kubernetes platform operations
- Apply AI-assisted software development practices to improve productivity and quality
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with SDLC standards, security requirements and operational best practices
Your skills
- 6+ years of DevOps engineering experience
- Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD implementations
- Proven Azure cloud expertise
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Strong Kubernetes administration and platform engineering skills
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Java development background
- Experience with AI-assisted software development
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
