Senior DevOps Engineer

You will own production Kubernetes, operate, scale, and secure the cloud-native infrastructure with a strong focus on reliability, observability, and automation. You will build and maintain Terraform and Helm charts to ensure consistency across environments. You will implement and maintain fast, secure, and developer-friendly CI/CD pipelines. You will lead incidents, conduct blameless post-incident reviews, and ship durable fixes. You will improve monitoring and alerting to reduce on-call burnout. You will partner with security to implement controls that support audits without crippling velocity, including secrets management, access controls, and network boundaries. You will automate, document, and pave the road for engineers shipping on top of your platform. You will participate in the team’s weekly 24x7 on-call rotation, respond promptly, escalate cleanly, and own customer-impacting issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Terraform and Helm charts to drive consistency across environments.
  • Implement and maintain fast, secure, and developer-friendly CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead incidents, conduct blameless post-incident reviews, and ship durable fixes.
  • Improve monitoring and alerting to cut noise, surface real signal, and reduce on-call burnout.
  • Partner with security to implement controls that support audit without crippling velocity, including secrets management, access controls, and network boundaries.
  • Automate, document, and pave the road for engineers shipping on top of your platform.
  • Participate in the team’s weekly 24x7 on-call rotation; respond promptly, escalate cleanly, and own customer-impacting issues through to resolution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
  • Deep familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS strongly preferred).
  • Proven depth in Infrastructure as Code - Terraform and Helm Charts are essential.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD systems at scale.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals and real production debugging skills.
  • Comfortable with a weekly 24x7 on-call rotation and the responsiveness it demands.
