Senior Devops Engineer
Summary
Remote Senior DevOps Engineer at ITMAGINATION who partners with developers to optimize software delivery: building CI/CD pipelines, designing and managing cloud infrastructure, containers and Kubernetes, and implementing logging, monitoring and alerting. Core stack includes cloud platforms (OCI a plus), Linux, Git/GitOps, and scripting in Python, Bash or Groovy.
This is a remote position.
- Partner closely with software developers, architects, QAs, and operations to
optimize software delivery and enhance developer experience, - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines,
- Script repetitive tasks and develop self-service tools for developers,
- Design and manage infrastructure,
- Implement and manage containers, run and manage VMs,
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting,
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, build automation, delivery and deployment,
- Very good understanding of concepts like CI/CD, GitOps, configuration management, cloud platforms, version control, automation, monitoring,analytics, containerization, and microservice architecture,
- Proficiency in coding in at least one scripting language (preferred: Python, Bash, Groovy)
- Experience in code collaboration and proficiency in Git,
- Experience in container orchestration in Kubernetes,
- Deep knowledge and practical experience managing Cloud infrastructure (OCI is a huge plus),
- Experience running and maintaining Linux VMs
