Summary
A senior developer/DevOps engineer who builds, deploys, and supports Java Spring Boot enterprise applications — in-house platforms like Client Entitlement Workflow (CEW) and Payment Data Repository (PDR) — on RHEL/SUSE Linux. Core work spans CI/CD automation, Oracle 12c/19c database and PL/SQL work, and production troubleshooting across application, middleware, and OS layers.
We are seeking a Senior Developer / DevOps Engineer to support applications within the PRO domain under CEW. The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications, with a strong focus on Java Spring Boot-based solutions deployed on Linux environments. The candidate will work on in-house platforms such as Client Entitlement Workflow (CEW) and Payment Data Repository (PDR), ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of systems.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java Spring Boot.
Deploy and manage applications in RHEL or equivalent Linux environments (e.g., SUSE Linux).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements for CEW and PDR platforms.
Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to development standards.
Support CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for build and release management.
Develop and maintain database integrations with Oracle Database 12c/19c.
Write and optimize PL/SQL procedures, views, and indexes where required.
Troubleshoot production issues across application, middleware, and OS layers.
Contribute to automation using shell scripting and deployment tools.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
About you
6-9 years of hands‑on experience in application development and DevOps roles.
Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot (mandatory).
Solid experience working in Unix/Linux environments (mandatory).
Experience with Oracle Database 12c or 19c.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
Experience with Oracle WebLogic and/or JBoss application servers.
Familiarity with Apache Web Server configuration and support.
Proficiency in Shell Scripting for automation.
