We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and cloud infrastructure automation to join our Talent Pool for upcoming international projects.

At Kyotu Technology, we collaborate with clients on cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and complex distributed systems across different industries.

We are looking for someone who combines strong cloud engineering and infrastructure automation skills with a solid understanding of platform reliability, security, scalability, and Developer Experience.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters on AWS, building reliable CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and developing observability solutions.

You should also feel comfortable collaborating with international engineering teams and communicating confidently in English.

🧠 Your responsibilities

• design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS

• deploy, manage, and optimize production Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS

• ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and security of cloud platforms

• design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions

• build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments

• develop and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and AWS CloudWatch

• automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes

• manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, and Lambda

• collaborate with development teams to improve Developer Experience and self-service infrastructure capabilities

• contribute to platform engineering initiatives, including standardized deployment workflows and Golden Paths

• continuously improve infrastructure performance, security, cost efficiency, and scalability

• troubleshoot infrastructure and application deployment issues in production environments

• create and maintain clear technical documentation

• collaborate with international stakeholders and engineering teams in English

• participate in operational support and on-call activities when required by the project

🧩 Must haves

• minimum 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering

• strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

• advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including deploying and operating production clusters

• practical experience with Amazon EKS

• strong understanding of AWS services, particularly EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda

• experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform

• hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• practical knowledge of Docker and containerized applications

• experience with infrastructure automation and scripting

• knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch

• solid understanding of cloud networking, infrastructure security, and access management

• experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and improving system reliability

• good understanding of Git, Linux, and DevOps best practices

• ability to independently manage infrastructure-related tasks and recommend technical improvements

• strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• experience collaborating with international clients or distributed engineering teams

• English at B2+ level, including confidence in technical discussions and meetings

✨ Nice to have

• experience working in multicloud environments, such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform

• hands-on experience with Thanos and advanced Prometheus monitoring architectures

• knowledge of Helm, Argo CD, or Flux CD

• experience implementing GitOps practices

• familiarity with Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP)

• experience designing self-service infrastructure solutions for development teams

• understanding of Developer Experience and Golden Paths

• experience with Python, Bash, or Go

• knowledge of cloud security best practices and DevSecOps approaches

• experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems

• familiarity with AWS cost optimization and FinOps practices

• experience with incident management, production support, and on-call rotations

• practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT
