Summary

DevOps Engineer owning end-to-end infrastructure—Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD with GitLab and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), IaC with Terraform and Ansible, observability stacks, databases, and DevSecOps in a hybrid Berlin office.

You work in a dedicated team on innovative solutions in a dynamic, product-oriented environment. You take end-to-end responsibility for our infrastructure and DevOps processes — from the Kubernetes platform and CI/CD pipelines through to monitoring, databases, and security.
Your tasks:
  • Kubernetes & containers: operation and expansion of ourclusters — node setup, upgrades, deployments, troubleshooting, and application testing; onboarding of development teams onto the platform; management of Docker-based container solutions and their integration into the existing infrastructure
  • CI/CD & GitOps: maintenance and further development of our GitLab environment, including pipelines, runners, the GitLab Agent for Kubernetes, and the Jira integration; GitOps-based delivery with ArgoCDor Flux
  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code: provisioning and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible
  • Databases: installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our database systems
  • Observability: setup and operation of ELK / TIG / Grafana Alloy stacks — installation, configuration, dashboards, and alerting
  • Networks & diagnostics: analysis and optimisation of our networks; log file analysis and systematic root cause analysis, up to and including complex incidents at packet level
  • Security: security checks at application and infrastructure level, plus security gates in the pipeline (SAST, dependency/SCA scanning, secretsdetection, SBOM generation, artifactsigning)
  • A degree in computerscience, a STEM subject, or an equivalent qualification gained through several years of professional experience
  • Strong Linux skills and solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, MTU/routing) with proven troubleshooting ability
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments, along with container technologies (Docker/OCI)
  • Hands-on depth with GitLab CI/CD or comparable systems, and with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCDor Flux
  • Practical experience automating infrastructure and configuration as code with Terraform and Ansible
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with a structured, detail-oriented way of working
  • A collaborative mindset: you enjoy developing solutions together, document your work, and share knowledge across the team
Nice to have:
  • Experience with a specific cloud platform (OCI, Azure, AWS, or GCP) and with migration projects
  • Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops toolchains such as Sonar Qube, Sonatype Lifecycle, Trivy, or Cosign/Sigstore

We are motivated, committed, and believe in the importance of teamwork. We offer unparalleled opportunities for personal growth and development, all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment.
We value personal interaction and foster a vibrant team culture, so we offer a hybrid work model that requires a presence in the office at least three days a week and allows for remote work. Additionally, we offer interesting workation models.
Our team enjoys daily amenities such as:

  • Fresh fruit daily in the team kitchen
  • An in-house canteen with a daily selection of dishes from our chefs
  • Table tennis and football
  • Flexible working hours and partial remote work
  • Space for creativity
  • Budget for training and further education
  • Access to discounts in the travel industry
  • Team activities
Oh, by the way, we speak English during the day.
