Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications.


• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.


• Automate operational tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).


• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.


• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and security.


• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in production environments.


• Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.


• Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across the infrastructure.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering with a DevOps focus.


• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services.


• Strong proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).


• Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).


• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.


• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).


• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system monitoring principles.


• Experience with version control systems (Git).


• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
