Our client, a rapidly growing software development company in Nelspruit , is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer to enhance their development and operations processes. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of their applications. This role demands a strong understanding of cloud technologies, containerization, and automation tools. You'll play a key role in fostering collaboration between development and operations teams, driving efficiency and speed in software delivery within the Mpumalanga region.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Manage and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef. Implement and manage containerization platforms such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability. Develop and maintain robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth application deployments. Requirements 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops engineering or a related role. Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code (Ia C) tools. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle CI.
