Summary
Senior Infra/DevOps engineer to design, manage, and scale an AWS-based SaaS platform for a client in Amsterdam, working hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home). Core stack is AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless/Lambda, networking (VPC/firewalls) and NodeJS, with strong emphasis on security and AI-embracing engineering.
Location: Amsterdam / hybrid (3 days from the office, 2 days from hoe)

Our client is seeking a dedicated, cloud-focused Infra / DevOps Engineer to design, manage, and scale their AWS-based SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has experience with Docker, serverless (Lambda), networking (VPC/firewalls), and k8s, with a focus on high-quality, secure, and innovative (AI-embracing) engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design:Build and deliver scalable solutions for growing traffic.
- AWS Management:Configure networking (VPC, subnets, firewalls, VPNs) and manage containerized applications.
- Security & Compliance:Implement best practices for system security.
Required Skills & Experience
- Core Technical Skills:AWS, Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, k8s, NodeJS.
- Experience:Proven experience in scaling containerized apps and serverless architecture.
- Startup/Scaleup mindset: A self-starter, someone who doesn't need a script or a way of working, but brings us new insights and learnings.
- Innovator: You have to be up to date with the latest developments. If AI is not your thing and you like to stay traditional, this is not for you.
