Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and support Azure Cloud environments

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).

• Embed DevSecOps practices into pipelines, automating SAST, SCA, DAST, and container vulnerability scanning using tools like Sonatype.

• Manage cloud identity, access, and security configurations, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and certificates.

• Automate operational workflows and platform management using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Drive developer enablement and AI-assisted engineering by integrating tools like GitHub Copilot and supporting Developer Portal platforms (Backstage/TechDocs).

• Collaborate with cross-functional Cloud, Security, and AppSec teams to onboard, guide, and troubleshoot engineering workflows in Agile environments.

• Monitor platform health, observability, and CI/CD pipeline performance using enterprise monitoring solutions.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions.

• Hands-on IaC and container orchestration experience: Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).

• Practical experience with application security automation (SAST/SCA/DAST, Sonatype, container scanning) and identity management (Entra ID, PKI, DNS).

• Proficiency in automation scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and supporting developer platform enablement.

• Excellent customer-facing communication, stakeholder management, and Agile collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to Developer Portal frameworks (e.g., Backstage, TechDocs) and technical documentation creation.

• Understanding of emerging AI concepts (Generative AI, Model Context Protocol - MCP, AI agents, developer productivity automation).

• Production experience with Linux, database management, and application server administration.
