Senior DevOps Engineer leading the design, delivery and reliability of the company's AI infrastructure — building CI/CD with GitHub Actions, IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and Kubernetes/GPU-based platforms, while improving observability, Go service releases and developer experience.
As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, delivery and reliability of our critical AI infrastructure. You’ll drive automation, CI/CD, and IaC across cloud, on-prem, and Kubernetes-based platforms to support high-performance GPU workloads. You’ll partner with Platform, SRE, and Product Engineering to shape technical direction and embed a strong DevOps culture. You will influence system design and cross-team ways of working to scale delivery and improve observability and developer experience. This role offers the chance to impact how we build and operate at scale in a fast-moving AI environment.

- Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Evolve Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible across dev, staging, production
- Manage hosted application environments for high availability and smooth production deployments
- Collaborate with Go engineers to streamline release processes and reduce friction
- Enhance the observability stack with logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards and alerts
- Improve developer experience and productivity
- Oversee continuous delivery for builds and deployments
- Standardise release processes for Go services with versioning, automated testing gating, and progressive delivery patterns (canary/blue-green)
- Identify and remove bottlenecks across the SDLC to speed up production deployments without sacrificing quality
- Champion self-service DevOps through tooling, docs, and guardrails
- Proven DevOps engineering experience
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Helm and containerisation tooling
- Scripting in Python, Shell and Ansible
- Strong knowledge of Git-based version control and branching strategies
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, observability, security and automation best practices
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams
