Senior DevOps engineer owning and scaling a developer tooling platform and CI/CD infrastructure used by hundreds of engineers: runner architecture and capacity planning, GitOps with ArgoCD, and supply-chain security (SAST, artifact attestation). Stack: Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Python/Golang/Rust, Ansible/Terraform. 3-6 month interim via Try&Hire with permanent option; on-site in Geneva.
This role builds, maintains and scales a developer tooling platform and CI/CD infrastructure used by hundreds of engineers, combining platform reliability work with supply chain security.
Your tasks
- Own and scale CI/CD infrastructure handling tens of thousands of jobs daily
- Plan capacity, design runner architecture and keep the platform reliable under shifting load
- Deepen GitOps workflows built on ArgoCD, including cluster state management across environments
- Advance supply chain security posture including SAST and artifact attestation
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems across network, application and system layers
What you bring
- Strong Kubernetes experience including tuning and troubleshooting on-prem Linux systems under load
- Hands-on CI/CD background, GitLab CI experience is a plus
- Practical experience with GitOps, ideally with ArgoCD
- Software development skills in Python, Golang or Rust
- Configuration management experience with Ansible and/or Terraform
- A security mindset grounded in DevSecOps practices
