About the Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build, secure, and maintain Tokenomics' digital asset platform infrastructure on AWS. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD (GitHub Actions and ArgoCD), Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, and MongoDB Atlas.

Working closely with the Tech Lead, Engineering, and IT Governance teams, you will ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with applicable SEC requirements. As an early team member, you will help establish the platform's infrastructure architecture, DevOps standards, and operational practices from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS & Infrastructure as Code: Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including networking, compute, databases, messaging, and security. Establish reusable modules, environment standards, infrastructure testing, code reviews, and cost optimization practices.

• CI/CD & GitOps: Build and maintain secure CI pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps-based deployment workflows using ArgoCD on Amazon EKS. Manage reusable workflows, container registries, Helm, Kustomize, deployment strategies, and rollback procedures.

• Secrets Management: Deploy and maintain highly available HashiCorp Vault clusters, including access policies, authentication, secret rotation, dynamic secrets, audit logging, and recovery procedures.

• Database Operations: Manage MongoDB Atlas clusters, performance, monitoring, network security, backups, Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR), and recovery testing.

• Observability & Incident Response: Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and on-call procedures. Lead critical incident response when required and conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis (RCA).

• Security & Compliance: Maintain AWS security controls, access management, audit trails, and vulnerability remediation. Work with IT Governance to support SEC requirements, security assessments, penetration testing, and audit readiness.

• Technical Leadership: Establish DevOps standards, SOPs, and runbooks; mentor junior engineers; and collaborate with the Tech Lead to align infrastructure improvements with engineering and regulatory priorities.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field.

• Hands-on experience managing production cloud infrastructure.

• Experience in FinTech, digital assets, cryptocurrency exchanges, or regulated financial services is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong AWS expertise across networking, compute, storage, databases, messaging, and security services.

• Production-level experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools, such as Pulumi or AWS CDK.

• Advanced Kubernetes skills, including cluster management, networking, RBAC, and Helm.

• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, complex CI pipelines, reusable workflows, and ArgoCD or equivalent GitOps tools.

• Practical experience with HashiCorp Vault and production operations of MongoDB Atlas.

• Proficiency in Bash, Python, Go, or TypeScript for scripting and automation.

• Knowledge of observability, infrastructure security, disaster recovery, and production incident management.

• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, mentor engineers, and establish best practices.

• Willingness to participate in on-call support when required.

• Proficient in Thai, both spoken and written, with intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and communication with international vendors.

• Knowledge of blockchain technology and digital asset trading platforms is an advantage.
