Active SC Clearance Required We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology company delivering advanced solutions across Defence, National Security and other highly regulated sectors. This is a hands-on role focused on AWS, Kubernetes and DevSecOps, where you'll help build secure, scalable platforms and drive automation across the engineering function. What You'll Be Doing
Designing and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. Administering Kubernetes environments (EKS/OpenShift). Building and improving CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Argo CD. Driving cloud security, monitoring and platform reliability. Supporting disaster recovery, backup and compliance activities. Optimising cloud performance, availability and costs. Leading incident response and troubleshooting activities. Working closely with developers to embed DevSecOps best practice. What We're Looking For
Active SC Clearance. Strong experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE roles. Expert AWS knowledge across compute, networking, IAM and security. Strong Kubernetes administration experience. Experience with Terraform, Docker and Linux. Experience with GitHub Actions and Argo CD. Knowledge of DevSecOps, SAST and DAST practices. Automation and scripting skills with Bash, Python or Go. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Desirable
MLOps or LLMOps experience (SageMaker, Kubeflow, ZenML). Prometheus or other observability tooling. AWS Karpenter and Compute Optimizer experience. Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST or OWASP frameworks. Experience working within Defence or other secure environments.
