Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in on-premises DevOps tools, CI/CD platforms, automation, Linux, security scanning, and observability platforms.
The role will be responsible for managing, upgrading, remediating, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise DevOps platforms. The successful candidate will work across the complete SDLC, from upgrade planning and regression testing through SIT/UAT, production implementation, and post-production warranty support.
The candidate should have strong experience working with enterprise DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Xray, HCL AppScan, Elastic/Kibana, OpenSearch, Docker, Apache, and OpenSSL.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and remediate DevOps platform obsolescence, upgrades, patching, and version migrations across enterprise environments.
- Analyze release notes, dependencies, compatibility risks, and execute upgrades across SIT, UAT, and Production.
- Design and maintain regression and automation test packs using Selenium, Tosca, Python, and other automation tools.
- Troubleshoot Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Groovy scripts, HCL AppScan/DAST,Elastic/Kibana, and OpenSearch platform issues.
- Perform installation, configuration, integration, upgrading, and maintenance of enterprise DevOps and CI/CD toolsets.
- Develop automation using Python, Ansible, Groovy, and Linux/Unix Shell scripting to reduce manual and repetitive activities.
- Coordinate testing, defect resolution, UAT sign-off, production deployment, SLA support, and post-go-live warranty/hyper care.
Requirements
- 10+years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise/on-premises DevOps platforms and CI/CD environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence,SonarQube, Artifactory, and Xray.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and integration of container platforms with CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with HCL AppScan / DAST, security scanning, and integration with DevOps pipelines.
- Strong experience with Elastic/Elasticsearch, Kibana, OpenSearch, dashboards, queries, and index management.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills with Python, Ansible, Groovy, and Shell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, SDLC, production support, and stakeholder management experience; banking/enterprise experience preferred.
