Summary
A senior DevOps/system administrator who manages Linux servers, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines to keep development and production environments highly available. - Manage and maintain Linux servers (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Deploy and maintain Docker containers to support development and production environments.
- Implement and manage the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software delivery.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and software deployment.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operational processes.
- Monitor system and application logs to identify and troubleshoot issues before they become critical.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps and cloud computing.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
- Excellent knowledge of LINUX family systems
- Knowledge of web systems architecture / MySql, PostgreSQL databases
- Knowledge in traffic routing with Nginx, Apache, HAProxy
- Knowledge of server virtualization technology
- Knowledge of architecture and configuration of HTTP, DNS, cache, and mail servers
- Fluency in the areas of system security and system updates.
- Coding skills in PHP/Laravel, Python, and Bash
- Experience with monitoring systems and their configuration.
- Knowledge of data backup and archiving systems
- What will come in handy at work (but is not our expectation): administration of containerization with Docker, apps orchestration in Kubernetes, experience in automating management processes with Ansible and CI/CD with Gitlab and Jenkins
Key Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
- Experience in managing Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL) and Docker.
- Familiarity with the administration of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with the Laravel framework and PHP.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
