We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client’s project, with knowledge of WebLogic Oracle’s enterprise‑grade.

About Client: FinTech Industry

Location: Gdańsk/Warsaw

Hybrid - once a week from office

Contract: until 31 December 2026 - potential extension

Language: English B2

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the stability, security and continuous improvement of environments built on WebLogic and managed through the internal configuration management framework NinjaFork. These platforms are essential for testing activities across the organization, so ensuring fast turnaround on updates, deployments and fixes is crucial.

The position requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic setup. You will also contribute to the automation of processes and support the internal NIDP development platform running on Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and verify security patches across all environments

• Deliver high‑quality changes with minimal disruption

• Build reliable automation for services and operational tasks

• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents independently

• Perform rapid rollouts and configuration updates

• Validate fixes directly with end users

• Troubleshoot issues across both application and infrastructure layers

• Suggest improvements and optimizations to daily workflows

• Document RCA findings and maintain shared knowledge materials

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong analytical thinking and self‑driven approach

• Ability to solve problems using scripting (preferably Bash)

• Solid hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts

• Strong background in Linux

• Practical knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD servers such as Bamboo

• Foundational experience with the Oracle ecosystem (DB, WebLogic, OSB)

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities

• Fluent spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with repository tools (Nexus, Artifactory)

• Working knowledge of Python

• Experience with monitoring solutions

• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure fundamentals
