Job Summary:
CoachMePlus is now hiring a Senior SysDevOps Engineer to join our team in support of an exciting DoW human performance platform product support initiative. The position may require a government security clearance to be processed, so US or Naturalized Citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
- CI/CD & Automation: Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) for quick, reliable deployments.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize scalable AWS cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Splunk) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Security (DevSecOps): Integrate security best practices and tools into the pipeline and infrastructure.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Bridge Dev and Ops teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
- Incident Response: Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for production issues.
- Strategy & Documentation: Define DevOps strategy, create roadmaps, and document processes and procedures.
- Enforce best practices for DevOps infrastructure and system documentation.
- Organize work plans, estimate tasks, and deliver finished projects to meet important deadlines.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide assistance to other developers, sales staff and customers.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to various technical and non-technical audiences.
