As a Senior Digital Asset Data Manager, you’ll ensure that the data underpinning our critical infrastructure is accurate, accessible, and drives smarter decisions. This role is central to Heathrow’s ambition to become a fully digital airport, enabling efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across our operations.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that partners with design, delivery, engineering, operations, and technology functions to deliver data solutions that build our assets and keep Heathrow running safely and efficiently.

  • Lead the development and implementation of Heathrow’s digital asset data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards to improve accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of asset information across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with designers, delivery partners, engineering, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated data solutions that enhance decision-making and operational resilience.
  • Oversee data quality improvement initiatives, including audits, cleansing, and validation processes, to ensure reliable asset information for critical projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on asset data management tools and systems, driving innovation and best practice adoption.
  • Report on data performance metrics and deliver insights that inform asset lifecycle planning and capital investment decisions.
  • Proven experience in asset data management within a complex infrastructure or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in asset management systems and related digital tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ideal Skills:

  • Experience in the aviation, transport, or utilities sector.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM processes.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital asset management, such as IoT and predictive analytics.
