This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.
The Senior Director, Enterprise Treasury and Platforms owns the long term enterprise strategy, target operating model, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes for the global Treasury, Source-to-Pay, Contract Lifecycle Management, and assigned adjacent enterprise-platform portfolio. The role connects business strategy, platform architecture, delivery execution, operating-model design, and enterprise value across Booking.com and the wider Booking Holdings environment.
The role leads through senior managers and other leaders, while providing matrixed leadership across product, engineering, business-process, and vendor teams in the United States, the Netherlands, India, and other relevant locations. It translates business priorities into a scalable platform strategy, makes clear enterprise trade-offs, and ensures resilient, compliant, value-generating platform outcomes.
The role initially anchors on Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and Contract Lifecycle Management. When Legal Operations platform scope is formally assigned, the Senior Director is accountable for defining the required operating model, decision rights, resources, service expectations, and transition milestones.
In this role you will get to:
Own the 24–48 month enterprise strategy and target operating model for the Treasury and Enterprise Platforms portfolio, translating Booking Holdings and Booking.com strategy into a small number of strategic choices, funded priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Lead the Treasury, Treasury Management Systems, Source-to-Pay, and Contract Lifecycle Management portfolios, with accountability for roadmap, architecture, implementation, stabilisation, operating rigor, platform evolution, controls, integrations, reporting, and vendor delivery.
Hold clear decision rights for portfolio prioritisation, investment recommendations, resource allocation, platform governance, vendor strategy, risk acceptance within delegated authority, and cross-brand trade-offs; define which decisions are delegated, jointly owned, or escalated.
Own strategic partnerships with Treasury, Procurement, Legal Operations, Finance, Technology, and leaders across Booking Holdings brands, aligning priorities and defining future-state capabilities across liquidity visibility, bank connectivity, cash management, intercompany structures, risk tooling, accounting integration, and reporting enablement.
Convert strategy into enterprise-wide portfolio decisions, governance, funding and resource choices, delivery commitments, and outcomes; remove barriers, resolve cross-portfolio dependencies, and ensure that teams have clear owners and decision rights.
Lead through senior managers, Directors, product leaders, engineering leaders, and platform specialists by setting clear outcomes, delegating to the lowest appropriate level, strengthening leadership coverage, and holding leaders accountable for delivery, people leadership, stakeholder outcomes, and sustainable operations.
Establish executive-ready governance, reporting, and escalation mechanisms that simplify complexity, surface risks early, accelerate decisions, and communicate the rationale, consequences, and enterprise impact of prioritisation and investment choices.
Own the performance of external partners and platform vendors, balancing operational stability, transformation ambition, cost/value, control effectiveness, service quality, and long-term sustainability.
When Legal Operations platform scope is formally assigned, define and implement the transition and support model for platforms such as Conga, Catylex, and Legal Tracker, maintaining clear separation between business ownership and technical/platform accountability.
What you have:
Significant leadership experience in treasury systems, financial systems, enterprise applications, or a closely related platform organization.
Strong Treasury and Procurement business acumen, including knowledge of treasury operating processes, controls, banking connectivity, reporting, and Treasury Management Systems and Procurement Systems.
Proven experience leading complex cross-brand and cross-functional transformation programs involving Finance and Technology stakeholders.
Experience with FIS Quantum, FIS Payment Hub, treasury payments infrastructure, or comparable treasury enterprise platforms.
Experience supporting global treasury centralization, operating model redesign, or enterprise-wide control standardization.
Experience with enterprise procurement, source-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, or legal operations platforms such as Ivalua, Conga, Catylex, or Legal Tracker.
Experience supporting post-go-live stabilization, hypercare, and long-term platform support after large-scale implementations.
Experience operating in environments where business ownership sits across Treasury, Legal, Procurement, and Finance, while platform accountability sits within a centralized enterprise applications team.
Demonstrated success managing managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrixed international organization.
Experience leading platform teams that combine product, engineering, business process, and vendor coordination responsibilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and produce executive-ready updates.
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and disciplined follow-through across planning, execution, risk management, and issue resolution.
Ability to balance strategic direction with operational execution across multiple platform domains at once.
