Senior Director - Finance Transformation - Consulting

Role Overview:

We are partnering with a leading global technology consulting and professional services organization to identify an accomplished Finance Transformation Consulting Leader who will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a globally integrated Finance Transformation practice from India.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced consulting professional with strong CFO advisory expertise, commercial acumen, global delivery experience and a proven ability to build high-performing consulting teams.

The role will focus on driving business growth, delivering large-scale transformation engagements, developing AI-led consulting solutions and strengthening global consulting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Commercial Leadership:

- Drive growth across Finance Transformation and CFO Advisory offerings in collaboration with global consulting and account leadership.

- Lead strategic pursuits, multimillion-dollar proposals, RFP responses, client workshops and solution development.

- Build differentiated value propositions and commercially viable transformation solutions.

- Identify cross-selling opportunities across business consulting, technology transformation and managed services.

Finance Transformation & Delivery Excellence:

- Lead complex, global Finance Transformation engagements across industries and geographies.

- Advise CFOs and senior finance executives on finance strategy, operating model transformation and digital finance modernization.

- Drive transformation across Finance Strategy, Process Excellence, Enterprise Performance Management, Controls & Compliance, and Treasury.

- Ensure delivery excellence, measurable business outcomes, client satisfaction and value realization.

- Manage multi-location consulting teams and global stakeholder relationships.

Digital Finance & Innovation:

- Develop AI-powered Finance Transformation solutions, accelerators, frameworks and reusable consulting assets.

- Leverage automation, advanced analytics and process intelligence to drive finance efficiency.

- Bring strong understanding of platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EPM, Anaplan, BlackLine, Celonis, Power BI and related technologies.

- Drive innovation across finance operating models, intelligent automation, financial planning and reporting.

Practice Building & People Leadership:

- Build and scale a high-performing Finance Transformation consulting practice.

- Lead capability development, workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning.

- Mentor senior consulting professionals and develop future practice leaders.

- Drive operational efficiency, resource utilization and delivery readiness.

Thought Leadership & Client Engagement:

- Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, finance leadership teams and global business stakeholders.

- Develop thought leadership, industry perspectives, consulting frameworks and market-facing propositions.

- Identify emerging trends in AI-led Finance Transformation, digital finance and next-generation operating models.

- Collaborate with global consulting leaders, technology partners and industry alliances.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Extensive experience in Finance Transformation, CFO Advisory or Finance Consulting, preferably with leading management consulting firms, Big 4 organizations or global technology consulting companies.

- Proven experience in building or scaling Finance Transformation consulting practices.

- Strong track record in business development, consulting sales, large deal pursuits and global delivery.

- Deep functional expertise across Finance Strategy, Target Operating Models, Process Excellence, Digital Finance, EPM, Controls and Treasury.

- Experience leading large-scale, multi-geography transformation programs and distributed consulting teams.

- Strong understanding of ERP, EPM, AI, automation and digital finance technologies.

- Demonstrated ability to engage with C-suite stakeholders and influence senior global leadership.

- Strong commercial orientation, strategic thinking, executive communication and people leadership capabilities.
