Job Summary

Lead regional corporate planning, HR, IT, and administration functions to drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and organizational capability across Southeast and East Asia for Marubeni Pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, monitoring, and continuous updating of the Company’s Mid-Term Business Plan (MTBP) to align with corporate strategy and regional priorities
  • Oversee development and management of the annual budget, coordinating and governing transfer pricing across the region
  • Direct enterprise risk management frameworks, including establishing, implementing, and maintaining Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
  • Coordinate and align subsidiaries and internal departments to provide strategic oversight of group companies’ operational management within the region
  • Provide analytical insights and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director to support effective decision-making
  • Lead initiatives on regional corporate strategy, planning, and management control to ensure organizational consistency, efficiency, and performance optimization
  • Support regional governance, strategic execution, and business objectives through additional assigned responsibilities
  • Liaise with Japan headquarters to ensure alignment of regional strategies, timely reporting, and effective communication on key initiatives and performance
  • Develop and execute regional HR strategies aligned with business objectives across Southeast and East Asia
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the Managing Director on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and change management
  • Develop talent management and leadership development programs to strengthen organizational capabilities
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with regional and local Managing Directors to ensure consistent HR governance while addressing local business requirements
  • Oversee full spectrum of local HR functions in Singapore and Malaysia, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, engagement, HR operations, and offboarding
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Review and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with market trends and business needs
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievance handling, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Develop and execute regional IT strategy aligned with Marubeni IT direction and business objectives
  • Communicate effectively with Marubeni IT and stakeholders to secure necessary support for IT requirements
  • Establish and maintain IT governance, policies, standards, and controls across the region
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and IT risk management requirements
  • Maintain cybersecurity, identity and access management, and incident response capabilities across the region
  • Provide user training and employee education on IT systems, cybersecurity, and digital working methods
  • Respond to IT assessments and implement necessary actions
  • Oversee and direct local administration support functions in Singapore to ensure smooth daily operations
