Senior Director - Smart City & ICT Operations

This leadership opportunity is suited to someone who can set the direction for city IT operations in a complex infrastructure setting and help translate smart city ambition into dependable operational delivery. The role will work across senior stakeholders and operational partners to support resilient, integrated ICT operations that enable long-term city readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the city IT operations strategy for smart infrastructure readiness.
- Lead service operations across a complex smart city or large-scale infrastructure environment.
- Oversee incident and problem management while strengthening service governance.
- Shape and apply operating models that support effective smart city operations.
- Work closely with city leadership, developers, contractors, utility providers, and ICT and operations teams to align delivery and execution.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, information systems, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a similar transferable field.
- Extensive leadership experience leading ICT operations for a smart city, large real estate development, or another complex infrastructure environment.
- Proven experience leading service operations, including incident and problem management and service governance.
- Deep expertise in ICT infrastructure and IoT or OT platforms.
- Strong understanding of smart city operations models.
- Experience working effectively with city leadership, developers, contractors, utility providers, and ICT and operations teams.
