Senior Distribution Designer
Overview:
The Senior Distribution Designer is responsible for leading high-complexity projects, setting design direction, and serving as a technical subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead large or technically challenging design efforts, such as grid modernization or underground initiatives.
· Represent design team in project meetings and with external stakeholders.
· Develop templates, standards, and workflows to improve design efficiency and quality.
· Mentor and train designers across all levels.
· Ensure quality, consistency, and innovation across all projects.
Qualifications:
· 7–10+ years of experience in distribution design with leadership responsibilities.
· Expertise in design software, permitting, and constructability.
· Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
· Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
