The Impact You'll Make:
- Candidate may work remotely within North Florida through a Hybrid Remote Work Agreement, or may work out of our Tallahassee Offices.
- Responsible for the development of highway and interstate drainage and stormwater improvement projects.
- Direct and/or perform drainage engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
- Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, Florida Department of Transportation, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope
- Responsible for client development and fostering a relationship with clients
- Lead and/or Assist in proposal, scope of work, and fee schedule preparation
- Attend on-site and off-site client meetings throughout North Florida
- Salary Negotiable, based on experience

- 8+ years of drainage design experience required
- Florida PE is required
- BSCE is required
- Must be located in North Florida
- FDOT drainage design experience required with competence in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR v3/v4, ASAD, and other stormwater modeling software
- Experience in engineering projects to be able to analyze project progress to be in conformance with project budgets, quality, scope of work, client, and sub-consultant issues is a plus, but not necessary
- Able to prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals, score of work, and fee schedules, is a plus, but not necessary
- Able to prepare or assist in the preparation and maintenance of client reporting such as status reports and other writing or verbal communications to the client, is a plus, but not necessary
