We’re looking for an experienced Senior Drupal/PHP Developer to join a long-term project focused on websites and digital platforms for universities, research institutions, and public-sector organizations.
This role combines hands-on development with direct client communication, so strong Drupal expertise and confident German communication skills are essential.
🔹 What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain existing Drupal websites and customized installations
- Build and extend custom Drupal modules and themes
- Troubleshoot technical issues and bugs
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
- Estimate development efforts and plan implementation steps
- Communicate directly with German-speaking clients
- Conduct technical discussions and workshops
- Advise clients on technical solutions, options, and risks
- Prepare deployments and rollback plans
- Document technical decisions and project knowledge
- Collaborate with Design, UX, PMs, and external development teams
🔹 What we’re looking for:
- 4 years of hands-on Drupal + PHP development experience
- Strong experience with customized Drupal installations
- Ability to provide concrete examples of Drupal projects and explain your technical contribution
- German C1+
- English B2+
- Strong knowledge of Git and Composer
- Experience with code reviews, testing, and deployments
- Ability to estimate development tasks and make technical decisions independently
