Senior Drywall Estimator

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Job Description

• Lead complex commercial drywall, metal framing, and ACT estimates and proposals.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies that support profitable project wins.
• Review estimates and help strengthen estimating quality across the team.
• Conduct bid reviews, risk assessments, and pre-award evaluations.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and support conceptual budgeting.
• Participate in project turnover meetings to help ensure seamless handoffs to operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and other industry partners.
• Participate in client meetings and support business development initiatives.
• Mentor estimators and help improve estimating procedures, systems, and best practices.
• Help secure profitable work while minimizing estimating-related profit fade.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial drywall experience.
• 3+ years of metal framing and ACT/acoustical ceiling estimating experience.
• Strong ability to review construction plans, specifications, scopes, and contract documents.
• Experience preparing and leading complex commercial estimates and proposals.
• Understanding of bid strategy, risk assessment, value engineering, and project turnover.
• Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to mentor team members and contribute to estimating process improvements.
• Existing relationships with general contractors or customers and a track record of supporting new business growth are strongly preferred.
