Senior EHV Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHV Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and implementation of Extra High Voltage (EHV) systems, particularly in relation to substations and power distribution. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical infrastructure, especially in data center environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop EHV systems, including substations and switchyards, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA and EMS systems into EHV designs. - Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects, focusing on high voltage applications. - Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects. - Prepare detailed design documentation and reports, including specifications and drawings. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in EHV design and power distribution. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of EHV design principles and practices. - Proficiency in substation design and power distribution systems. - Experience with SCADA and EMS systems integration. - Familiarity with high voltage equipment and standards, particularly at 220kV. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
