Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Project Manager (Infrastructure Projects / M&E)

Role Overview

Our client, an established M&E engineering contractor, is looking for an experienced electrical professional to join its team for a new infrastructure project in Singapore.

The successful candidate will manage electrical works from technical coordination and submissions through site installation, testing, commissioning and project handover.

Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical works from planning through completion and handover.
  • Coordinate with LTA, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Review drawings, technical submissions, method statements and material requirements.
  • Oversee site activities, manpower, subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Monitor project schedules, progress, quality and safety.
  • Resolve technical, interface and site-coordination matters.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and defect rectification.
  • Support procurement, variation orders, claims and project reporting.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical project experience in Singapore.
  • LTA project experience in MRT, rail, road or tunnel projects is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates with large-scale infrastructure or public-sector project experience may also be considered.
  • Strong site execution, technical coordination and subcontractor-management experience.
  • Familiar with electrical testing and commissioning processes.
  • Good communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
