Senior/Electrical Engineer - MNC Listed Semiconductor Company

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate electrical systems for industrial and custom automation equipment.

• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and control architectures.

• Select and integrate PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, motors, sensors, safety devices and communication networks.

• Ensure compliance with international electrical and machine safety standards (CE, UL, IEC).

• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, FAT, SAT and equipment commissioning.

• Work directly with customers to identify operational needs and propose technical solutions.

• Develop equipment upgrades, retrofits and modernization strategies to improve performance, reliability and safety.

• Present technical proposals and improvement roadmaps to customers.

• Drive design reviews, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Optimize electrical designs for cost and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in custom automation or capital equipment, with proven project leadership.

• Customer-facing experience in technical sales support or solution engineering.

• Experience in equipment upgrades and modernization projects.

• Proficient in CAD drawings; SolidWorks Electrical is highly preferred.

• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
