Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager - Data Centre

As Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager in Arup's Frankfurt team, you lead electrical design for medium to large-scale, mission-critical data centres from concept to handover. You own design quality, coordination and client alignment, delivering integrated MV, LV and ELV solutions. You collaborate across disciplines to meet performance and sustainability goals, and you mentor colleagues to sustain a high-performing, collaborative culture. • Lead design of electrical systems (MV, LV, ELV) for medium to large mission-critical data centre projects from concept to handover
• Prepare and review design deliverables ensuring quality, coordination, compliance, and client alignment
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated electrical solutions
• Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, linking design decisions to project goals and performance
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing project environment

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or equivalent
• Extensive senior experience designing mission-critical electrical systems, ideally data centres
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards, including German codes, and experience with Revit MEP / 3D BIM
• Proven ability to manage design deliverables, budgets, and priorities with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent English and ideally German, commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation
