Job Summary
Lead electrical engineering projects by developing detailed plans, managing finances, supervising technical execution, ensuring compliance, and coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure all electrical engineering deliverables are completed on schedule and within financial limits.
- Manage project finances by tracking costs accurately for labor, materials, and equipment to maintain budget control.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical works, including design, procurement, installation, and Testing & Commissioning (T&C), ensuring technical excellence.
- Ensure all site activities comply strictly with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards to guarantee safe and compliant project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve seamless project execution and collaboration.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, contractors, and government agencies by providing regular project updates and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Identify potential project risks and site challenges proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects.
