Senior Electronic Invoicing IT Consultant

About the role

We are Métrica, a business consultancy, systems integration, IT services and solutions company, committed to the Information Society and technological development.

We are looking for a senior functional Consultant specialized in electronic invoicing to collaborate on an analysis and definition project for the invoicing model of a Spanish financial entity.

Your mission will be to evaluate current processes (AS IS), design the future model (TO BE), and advise on the selection of the most suitable technological solution, taking into account business requirements, applicable regulations, and integration with existing systems.

What you'll do

• Analyze and document current processes for invoice issuance and receipt, validation, accounting, incident management, and archiving.
• Identify differences between the current situation and the applicable functional and regulatory requirements.
• Design the future operating and functional model.
• Prepare the catalog of functional requirements and the criteria for evaluating solutions.
• Compare electronic invoicing tools and providers and prepare a justified recommendation.
• Coordinate working sessions with the Finance, Tax, Procurement, Technology, and Compliance areas.
• Define an implementation roadmap with priorities, dependencies, and risks.
• Support the functional validation of the selected solution.

What we're looking for

• Extensive functional knowledge of the complete electronic invoicing cycle, both for issuance and receipt.
• Experience in AS IS / TO BE analysis projects, requirements gathering, and process redesign.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Spanish regulatory framework for electronic invoicing and the ability to translate it into business requirements.
• Experience in the evaluation and selection of solutions and providers.
• Knowledge of accounting and tax processes, and integration with ERPs and other corporate systems.
• Ability to interface with business and technology teams.
• Autonomy, analytical capacity, and good documentation and communication skills.
