Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team and take a key role in the development of advanced multi-standard cellular products, including 2G/3G/4G/5G small cells. The role involves designing high-speed digital, analog, and power supply circuitry, collaborating closely with RF Engineers on RF circuit design, and leading schematic capture activities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in prototype board testing and design validation, while actively contributing throughout the full product development lifecycle.

As a Cognyter you will:

  • Develop multi-standard (2G/3G/4G/5G) small cells and cellular products
  • Design high-speed digital, analog and power supply circuitry
  • Collaborate with RF Engineers for RF circuitry design
  • Lead schematic capture
  • Prototype board test and design validation
  • Be involved in the full product development cycle

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

  • BSc degree in Electronics or related subject
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • A broad range of design, development and debug skills
  • Experience in complex board design using interface standards such as LVDS, SGMII, MIPI RFFE, LVDS, I2C, SPI, PCIe
  • Experience in PCB design, preferably using Orcad/Allegro EDA tools would be considered an advantage
