Senior Embedded Engineer
Description
Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Engineer specializing in Digital Loop Control to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-speed control algorithms for High Voltage, High Current and Pulsed Switch-Mode Power Supplies. Your expertise will bridge the gap between complex control theory and efficient firmware execution on real-time microcontrollers.
Preferred candidate profile
- Digital Control Design: Develop and tune digital compensators (PI, PID, 2P2Z, 3P3Z) for voltage and current loops in various topologies (Resonant LLC, Phase-Shifted Full Bridge, PFC, PWM Full-Bridge).
- Firmware Development: Develop high-performance C/C++ code for real-time MCUs (specifically TI C2000, STM32G4/F4).
- Peripheral Mastery: Configure and optimize high-resolution PWMs (HRPWM), ADC-triggering synchronization, CMPSS and DMA for low-latency control.
- System Logic: Implement specialized timing and safety interlocks required for ON/OFF control, voltage & current regulation and voltage ramping.
- Communication Protocols: Implement robust industrial interfaces including RS485 (Modbus), CAN bus, and Ethernet/USB for system telemetry.
