Senior Embedded Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Embedded Engineer, you will specialize in developing and optimizing embedded Linux systems to support high-performance hardware. You will streamline the integration between low-level software and physical hardware components, ensuring robust and efficient system operations.

What You'll Do:

- Architect and maintain custom Linux distributions for embedded applications.
- Perform board bring-up and facilitate seamless system integration on diverse hardware architectures.
- Design and optimize kernel modules and device drivers to enhance system functionality.
- Develop low-level software components to manage bootloading and hardware initialization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and hardware-software interfaces.
- Enhance system reliability and performance within resource-constrained environments through rigorous debugging and optimization.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Engineering or related software development.
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining embedded Linux systems using Yocto Project or Buildroot.
- Proficiency with low-level components including U-Boot, kernel modules, and device drivers.
- Hands-on experience with board bring-up and system integration on ARM or x86 architectures.
- Deep understanding of programming for constrained embedded environments.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
