Senior Embedded Firmware Developer (m/f/d)

Alpitronic in Italy is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to design, develop and maintain embedded firmware for MCU-based sensing and control in e-mobility solutions. You will define firmware architectures and ensure robust hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities include developing low-level drivers for MCU peripherals (CAN, I2C, SPI), contributing to safety-related architectures, testing, and documenting design decisions.

Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based applications, primarily in C Define firmware architectures and support board commissioning for new hardware Develop, integrate, and maintain system and application software Ensure robust hardware-software integration across development lifecycle Perform software testing, debugging, and validation in target and test environments Contribute to functional safety activities and create design documentation Troubleshoot field issues and perform root-cause analyses Collaborate with developers and project managers for project execution Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based applications.
