The Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer is responsible for leading the development of firmware for advanced electrical wiring devices, including lighting controls, switches, dimmers, and protection systems (GFCI/AFCI). Designs, integrates, tests, and debugs firmware for resource-constrained microcontrollers, ensuring reliable hardware/software performance. Collaborates across firmware and hardware domains, supporting schematic review, board bring-up, and root-cause analysis. Develops solutions supporting low-rate wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) and leverages modern tools like Azure DevOps for efficient workflows. Drives comprehensive testing strategies and works closely with cross-functional teams to align development with product and business goals.
