The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role you will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex transformation program
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
• Traveling to client locations and delivering professional services as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of leading complex, large-scale, IT, technical or engineering programs experience
• 5+ years of leading multiple Agile teams (like Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale experience
• Experience bridging business requirements with technical solutions, including facilitating architectural discussions and making trade-off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact
• Experience leveraging cloud services, architectures, and frameworks (e.g., Well-Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework) to guide technical decisions and strategic planning

Preferred

• Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives, both business and technical
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience using and adopting scaled agile framework (e.g. SAFe, LeSS)
• AWS experience preferred
