Senior Engagement Manager
Description
1. Strategic Partnerships, CSR Networking & Ecosystem Building
Stakeholder Development: A platform requires numerous actors to converge. Your responsibility would be to introduce, engage, and develop relationships with stakeholders such as CSR Heads, Philanthropies, Corporate Foundations, other CSOs, and service providers to unlock blue-green initiatives in metro cities like Bengaluru and at a basin or watershed level.
Channel Development: WELL Labs should work with multiple organisations whose goals are aligned with those of WELL Labs to deliver greater use of our platform. They are potential channel partners, and we should drive our engagement as such.
Stakeholder Facilitation: Design, curate, and lead high-impact multi-stakeholder workshops, roundtable discussions, and consultative meetings to align key actors behind a shared vision for urban water security.
2. Strategy Guidance & Platform Popularisation
Platform Outreach & Adoption: Drive the updating, popularisation, and widespread adoption of WELL Labs' digital platforms (including the and decision-support frameworks, basin-level platforms) among funders, urban planners, and civic decision-makers to scale city-level nature-based solutions and basin-level interventions.
Insight-Driven Strategy Development: Synthesise on-ground feedback, corporate priorities, and ecosystem insights from partner conversations to continuously inform, update, and refine platforms’ features and capabilities.
Systems & Policy Advocacy: Work closely with municipal authorities and technical agencies to translate blue-green concepts into municipal planning frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory practices.
3. Program & Impact Management
Project Delivery: Conceive, design, and independently manage the end-to-end execution of strategic partnership projects.
Knowledge Dissemination: Translate complex hydrological, environmental, and blue-green data into compelling narratives, strategic briefs, and pitch presentations tailored for diverse audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between internal research, GIS/modeling, and platform teams and external implementation partners to ensure seamless alignment and deliverable execution.
Outcome Delivery
For this role as part of the Urban Water team, the outcomes you should seek to deliver are
Active Engagement with 50 funding organisations that are actively sourcing projects from our platform
Getting over 30 project developers to list their projects and services on the platform
Enabling the closure of 5 projects in the first year.
